Internet Explorer Page Expire Problem
There is a problem in Microsoft's Internet Explorer's ability to accurately store previously viewed Internet pages on your local Hard Drive (called caching).  This problem is apparent when you click on [Previous] link or "Back" buttons and you receive the following error message

Warning: Page has Expired

The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button.

Hitting Refresh as suggested by the error will EMPTY the contents of the shopping cart.  If you receive the error, click on the Browser's "FORWARD" button to load the last viewed page.  Then Click on New Search button on bottom of page.

This is a documented bug in Internet Explorer 3.0 and later.   Several web page caching issues have been fixed in Internet Explorer 5.0, but it still exhibits page caching problems (it will prevent you from going back any further, thus it will not expire the page).  Be advised that Netscape does not exhibit this problem.

JavaScript Errors
The Embassy Wine Shopping Cart is unique in that you can view the contents of you order as you shop.  The technology used to create this effect relies on browser technology to display frames, and interpret commands from the server to operate the cart.   The commands are embedded within the web pages delivered to your computer.   The command language is called JavaScript, and it is up to the browser to understand the commands being sent.  Microsoft Internet Explorer (Version 3 or newer) and Netscape (Version 2 and newer) must be in good working order, or JavaScript errors can occur.  If this is occurring, we recommend that you reinstall your browser to correct the problem.

For more information about this issue, or to try additional repair steps, see the Browser support page at SierraTech's web site (Under Construction).
